Early Friday morning, a collision on the South Side of Chicago left four people injured when an SUV crashed into a Chicago Police Department patrol car. The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. in the 6000-block of South Michigan Avenue in the Washington Park neighborhood, authorities reported.
The SUV, driven by a man with a woman as his passenger, was said to have collided with the CPD vehicle. Both the driver and the passenger of the black SUV, as well as two officers from the squad car, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
