
District 3 Commissioner Martin Raxton will host a Civics 101 program on the first Saturday of August at the One Family Resource Center in Douglasville. The free session is open to residents interested in learning about local government and the policy-making process.
The Civics 101 session will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on August 2. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about local government operations.
