Inter Miami is now ready to fully focus and potentially climb up to claim the eastern conference top spot. According to Local 10, they are currently perched in seventh place, sitting just 29 points shy with a crucial four games in their hand. A winning streak in these upcoming matches could dramatically shuffle the conference rankings.
It seems that star players, including Lionel Messi, are expected to participate in the upcoming match against Montreal, as per reports from Miami Herald. Nevertheless, the question remains whether Inter Miami's manager, Javier Mascherano, will against choose to rotate his squad, possibly handing chances to burgeoning talents like Benjamin Cremaschi and Telasco Segovia.
The optimism within the club is palpable, with Mascherano expressing confidence that the team will be able to leverage their International tournament experience to galvanize their MLS campaign. "I think that this is going to help us (back in MLS)," he said, "It goes without saying that it depends on our own personal intelligence that we have at our disposal as a team to be able to leverage this experience," in a statement obtained by Local 10.
