The Lebanon Police Department quickly recovered a stolen black Kia Soul, according to a social media post by the department. The vehicle was reported stolen this morning, leading to an arrest and the safe recovery of the car.
The Lebanon Police Department stated on their social media post, "Just a few hours later, SafeNet alerted officers that the stolen vehicle might be traveling on I-40. B-Shift officers quickly responded, located the vehicle, and safely conducted a traffic stop near the 229 mile marker."

The situation avoided complications when officers took the driver, identified as a juvenile, into custody without incident. The young driver faces charges including possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of burglary tools, and driving without a license. These charges relate to issues of juvenile crime and preventive measures.
