
In a recent altercation on Bollenbacher Street in the Emerald Hills neighborhood, a dispute turned violent, resulting in one man shooting another. The San Diego Police Department reported that a 53-year-old man shot a 42-year-old man in the upper chest, following a heated argument that occurred yesterday, just before 3 pm.
The victim, sustaining life-threatening internal bleeding, was promptly transported to a local hospital for emergency care. The alleged shooter, who also suffered a broken knee during the incident, was arrested and is expected to undergo surgery. Officer J. Perales, the SDPD Watch Commander, disclosed the details of the incident in a statement obtained by the San Diego Police Department. The investigation has been handed over to Southeastern Detectives, who arrived at the scene following the shooting.
Authorities have not yet released the names of those involved, and the motive behind the argument remains unclear. However, the police are actively seeking information and have encouraged anyone with insights into the incident to come forward.
