According to NBC Chicago, the incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Richmond Road/IL Route 31 and McCullom Lake Road. A 2006 Audi A4, heading southbound and driven by an 18-year-old male, reportedly struck a black 2015 Nissan Sentra. Following the accident, authorities partially closed the intersection to conduct their investigations. Photos and video from the location were testimony to the violent encounter between the vehicles. The wreckage told a silent yet harrowing tale of the momentary chaos that ensued under the cover of night.
