Commuters in Metairie should note that one eastbound lane of West Esplanade Avenue, from Severn Avenue to North Hullen Street, will be closed on Wednesday, July 9. The closure, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 a.m. the following day, is for sewer line repairs. According to an announcement from Jefferson Parish, drivers should to anticipate reduced lanes during this period.
