Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office to Honor Courageous Youth as Honorary Deputy in Special Ceremony

In an expression of support and recognition, the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office is set to honor a new honorary deputy in a special ceremony. Devarjaye "DJ" Daniel, a young individual noted for his personal courage and unwavering support for law enforcement, is to be officially sworn in at an event at the Sheriff's Office headquarters.

Along with Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz, the occasion will bring together agents from various law enforcement entities including the FBI and the HIDTA. This gathering isn't just to formally bestow the title upon Daniel but to also publicly acknowledge his resilience and the inspiration he has offered. The event is to take place tomorrow, as reported by the Miami-Dade government's official release.

The ceremony, located at the Fred Taylor Headquarters Building in the second-floor auditorium, is expected to draw both community members and officials.
