
A woman was rushed to the hospital this morning after being stabbed in northwest Miami-Dade, with authorities still on the lookout for the suspect. The incident occurred in the vicinity of Northwest 172nd Street and 94th Court, as confirmed by the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO).
Deputies arrived at the scene at approximately 8:43 a.m. and found the woman on the ground, suffering from at least one stab wound, "laying on the ground suffering from an apparent stab wound(s)," as mentioned in a report by NBC Miami. Responders from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took her to a local hospital in stable condition, through, the circumstances leading to the violence remain unclear.
The authorities have indicated that the assailant is an acquaintance of the victim, however, the exact nature of their relationship has yet to be determined. "We do not know the relationship or any familial ties at this time," an MDSO spokesperson told Local 10 News. Witnesses or anyone with information are urged to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation into the stabbing.
