
The City of Miami Police Department, has concluded the search for 19-year-old Joel Torres, who had been reported missing. Torres, last seen in the Coral Way area of Miami, was considered endangered when he disappeared. According to Local 10 News, police confirmed yesterday morning that Torres had been located. However, details about his condition or exactly where he was found have not been disclosed.
Prior to this update, the Miami Police Department issued a call to the public for assistance. Torres was described as a young man standing 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with short, curly brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black and blue long sleeve shirt along with dark pants. WSVN reported that anyone with information was encouraged to contact Detective A. Martinez or any on-duty detective at the Special Victims Unit.
The case attracted widespread concern from the community due to Torres' age and the circumstances of his disappearance. Police have not yet released further details about the investigation or the events surrounding his disappearance and eventual discovery.
