The driver, a 25-year-old woman hailing from Murfreesboro, had apparently just absconded with items from a nearby Walmart. Sitting in the passenger seat, a 40-year-old male from Wartburg was found in possession of drug paraphernalia. With the stolen goods and the unlawful substances, the arrest painted a picture of petty theft escalated to drug involvement.
The Mt. Juliet Police expressed their pride in the officers' vigilant efforts to uphold safety in the community. "Thanks to the sharp observation and quick action of our officers, a previously unreported theft was uncovered," the department stated in their post.
