The Nashville Fire Department is looking for a suspect and a person of interest after a fire at Brooks Bail Bond on Tuesday, just before midnight. The fire happened at a location on Jefferson Pike. The department shared a message on social media asking the public to help identify the individuals seen on surveillance video, as reported by the Nashville Fire Department.
In the video, the first person, wearing shorts, is seen looking toward the bail bond business. Fire investigators have identified this person as a person of interest. A second person, wearing a hoodie, then lights an object and throws it at the front of the building. Investigators are working to identify and locate the suspect, as stated by the Nashville Fire Department.
According to the Nashville Fire Department on their Facebook page, anyone with information about the fire should call the NFD Arson Line at 615‑862‑5640 or the Tennessee Arson Hotline at 1‑800‑762‑3017, which is available 24/7. Tips can be submitted anonymously and may lead to a cash reward of up to $5,000 if they result in an arrest or conviction.
