Palm Beach County has racked up 36 awards from three national organizations. During the 2025 National Association of Counties (NACo) Annual Conference, the county collected 28 Achievement Awards in a variety of fields, ranging from health and human services to technology and civic engagement, the county's website announced.

Further recognition came from the National Association of County Information Officers (NACIO), which handed out seven awards to the county's Public Affairs and Parks & Recreation departments, including a top honor for communication initiatives. The Information Systems Services Department also made waves by placing 10th in the nationwide 2025 Digital Counties Survey – a collab between the Center for Digital Government and Government Technology magazine, which acknowledges counties excelling in technology application, cybersecurity strength, and government transparency.

Amidst these accolades, Interim County Administrator Todd J. Bonlarron expressed pride in the county's performance. “We’re incredibly proud to be recognized by NACo for our commitment to serving the residents of Palm Beach County,” Bonlarron said, “These awards reflect the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our staff to deliver programs that make a real difference,” as noted by the Palm Beach County release.

Palm Beach County's haul of awards at the NACo conference, and the related NACIO and digital technology recognitions, highlight the continual push for progressive policies and practical solutions in local governance. The county maintains a track of innovative strides, pushing boundaries and leveraging technology to bolster services and decision-making processes in various sectors that directly impact its citizenry.
