
The Palm Springs Police Department has released the name of a man found deceased on a bench outside of a local laundromat. According to CBS12, the man has been identified as Timothy Tomb. His body was discovered sitting on a park bench in front of the Laundry Time Laundromat on Lake Worth Road.
Reports of a suspected deceased individual came in around 8:40 a.m. last Friday. Responding after a call, officers arrived on the scene finding Tomb, who was experiencing homelessness at the time, and was pronounced dead at the scene. It has been noted by authorities that though the death does not appear to be suspicious, the investigation is ongoing pending the results of an autopsy.
Meanwhile, Hoodline further details the Palm Springs Police Department's efforts to uncover information about the incident. The PSPD is encouraging anyone with knowledge about the occurrence to come forward. Detective Jan Hansen has been assigned to lead the investigation.
