
Tragedy struck in Westwood on Friday night as a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle, prompting an investigation by Cincinnati police. The incident occurred at the intersection of Montana Avenue and Epworth Avenue, with police dispatching units to the scene at approximately 10:15 p.m., as per a statement obtained by Local12. The victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to UC Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle, a 25-year-old man, remained at the scene during the investigation, which was reportedly conducted behind the wheel of a 2020 Chevrolet Trax. Cincinnati police have indicated that they are specifically investigating whether impairment was a factor in the crash. However, speed has not been suspected to play a role, according to a report by FOX19.
