
A 26-year-old Bahamian man was shot and killed on Saturday morning at Preakness Apartments on Bell Road in Antioch. Metro Nashville Police said the incident happened around 10:30 a.m. and involved a dispute over rent. The victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a breezeway and was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he died, according to WSMV.
A 31-year-old man was taken into custody after a shooting incident and is claiming self-defense, as reported by FOX17. Police said the dispute began over rent and moved from inside an apartment to the breezeway. Both the victim and the suspect were armed. No charges have been filed at this time.
Nashville police are investigating a fatal shooting involving a suspect who was reportedly in a relationship with the victim's roommate, as mentioned by WKRN. Two guns were found at the scene.
