Currently held in custody, Collins is set to undergo arraignment this afternoon at the Hall of Justice, as the district attorney's office aims to maintain his detention, citing public safety concerns. The police were summoned to the intersection of Ocean Ave. and Lee Ave. last Saturday when the stabbing incident took place, resulting in the dispatching of officers who discovered an adult male with a severe stab injury. Officers provided immediate aid, and medical technicians transported the victim to the hospital for critical injuries. However, the victim ultimately died.
