Margate has added a new spot to its growing list of eateries. Smoothie King, the latest establishment to join the local food scene, officially opened its doors, offering a mix of wholesome beverages to health-conscious consumers. A diverse range of flavors from papaya to mango is now available for residents looking to satisfy their taste buds with nutritious options.
The franchise is the joint venture of Daniel Aybar and Samuel Homicil, who turned their university camaraderie into a fruitful entrepreneurial partnership. The two owners met during their MBA studies at Florida International University and decided that Smoothie King was the right brand to champion. "We love the brand," Homicil said in a statement obtained by the City of Margate's official release. "This is a brand we can get behind."
Margate officials, including Commissioner Anthony Caggiano, and Mayor Arlene Schwartz, were present to witness the ribbon-cutting ceremony and share in the inauguration festivities. "We are so excited to welcome them to the city of Margate," Schwartz remarked, signifying the local government’s support for new businesses, as noted by the same release.
Conveniently situated at 5412 W. Atlantic Blvd., the new Smoothie King outlet is welcoming customers daily. The community-minded franchise hopes to not only cater to the taste preferences of Margate citizens but also to become a mainstay in the local business landscape. In a gesture of neighborly goodwill, the City of Margate's announcement extended wishes: "We wish you many successful years in Margate!"
