
A Tennessee man, Walter Lucian Lewis, has been indicted after an investigation revealed evidence pointing to the sexual abuse of multiple children in Sumner County. A Grand Jury levied several charges against Lewis, including "continuous sexual abuse of a child, five counts of aggravated rape of a child, five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, especially aggravated sexual exploitation, and aggravated sexual battery," as outlined by the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office and reported by FOX17.
The sheriff's department began investigating Lewis in May, leading to his arrest and a $500,000 bond. "This is not just another arrest, it’s the result of a difficult investigation into the horrific abuse of multiple children," stated the sheriff’s office in a note to the public.
