Terrebonne Parish travelers should be aware of scheduled maintenance on the Boudreaux Canal Bridge. Starting Thursday, July 10, LA 56 Eastbound and Westbound will be closed nightly from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has confirmed that roadwork signs will be displayed each night from Thursday through the following Sunday. During these periods, through traffic will be prohibited, and drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes for their nighttime travel in the area.
