
Three men are now in custody, facing charges for a series of vehicle burglaries that occurred in Hendersonville, Tennessee. On July 16, Hendersonville Police Department received reports of multiple incidents along Centerpoint Road, leading to a rapid investigation, WSMV reported. Four individuals were suspected to have burglarized several unlocked vehicles the night before, taking various items.
19-year-old Kyle Decker, 26-year-old Kaleb Patrick, and 20-year-old Jeremiah Rumph have been apprehended according to authorities. Decker and Patrick were arrested shortly after the break-ins, while, Rumph was taken into custody on July 17. Police are still seeking the fourth suspect in the string of burglaries, as WKRN further details.
The trio faces charges of four counts of vehicle burglary, one count of theft under $1,000, and one count of theft over $1,000. As the investigation continues, all three men have been remanded to the Sumner County Jail, with court appearances set in General Sessions Court. Police have yet to release information on bond amounts or specific court dates.
Hendersonville Police have reached out to the public for assistance in preventing future crimes. "The Hendersonville Police Department would like to encourage citizens to ensure that their vehicles are locked when left unattended to deter opportunist criminals such as these," in a statement noted by Main Street Media TN.
