The Chicago Police Department has issued a report on a missing 16-year-old girl, Coriana Woodard, who was last seen in the Chicago area of 39th and Ellis Ave, despite being an Indiana resident. The teen is described as an African American female with brown eyes, black hair, a medium complexion, standing 5'05" and weighing 110 pounds. According to the CPD's official notification, Woodard was last contacted on July 16, 2025.
Woodard was reportedly wearing a black T-shirt and multicolored pants paired with black Crocs shoes. Importantly, she was also carrying a pink backpack adorned with a Nike logo. Area One detectives are urging anyone with any information regarding her whereabouts to come forward, either by contacting them at 312-747-8380 or by calling 911. The CPD provided a NIC # M25B2574 to aid in the identification process, and the effectiveness of community engagement in such cases cannot be overstated.
