The Utes are gearing up to take the spotlight in Frisco, Texas, where they'll make their appearance for the Big 12 Football Media Days, happening this Wednesday, a showcase event that's slated at The Star, home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys.
Representing Utah will be a quartet that fans are plenty familiar with including quarterback Devon Dampier, who’s had quite the arm last season, lineman Spencer Fano, whose blocks are brick-wall-worthy, linebacker Lander Barton and cornerback Smith Snowden, these players along with the team's head honcho, Coach Kyle Whittingham, are up for a day full of media buzz and probably some Texan heat, too.
On the agenda is a full two days of football talk, strategy babble, and team teasers, but the Utes are taking their turn on day one, and everyone with a screen and an interest can tune in, we're talking live coverage on ESPNU, ESPN+, and for the first bite of the cherry, ESPN2 is getting in on the live action.
Whittingham is set to take center stage, or rather, the main stage spotlight from 11:40-11:55 a.m. MT, and it's not just idle chit-chat, those who bleed Utah red can get an earful of their coach's thoughts because, as it was reported by Utahutes.com, this particular segment will be on ESPN+, for those fans that like their sports updates straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak.
