The Clarksville Police Department has confirmed the arrest of a 21-year-old man, Ka’Bari Jaquez Carr, following a shooting incident on Tiny Town Road last Saturday. According to a report by Clarksville Online, Carr was apprehended in Stewart County on Monday night and is now facing charges for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The arrest resulted from a collaborative effort between the Clarksville Police and Stewart County authorities. The Clarksville Police Department told WSMV that the suspect was quickly identified after the shooting, which involved multiple rounds being fired at a moving vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the incident. Carr's bond has been set at $75,000.
Investigators deduced the shooting was a targeted incident and not random. Carr, who was a passenger in the car from which the shots were fired, had the vehicle located and seized by authorities after he fled the scene.
