Avelo Airlines announced three nonstop routes from Concord-Padgett Regional Airport to San Juan, Puerto Rico; West Palm Beach, Florida; and Albany, New York. Service will begin in October, with one-way fares starting at $57, according to the Concord government website. Flights will operate twice weekly to San Juan and four times weekly to West Palm Beach and Albany.

Concord-Padgett Regional Airport, located near downtown Charlotte, provides an alternative to Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Avelo first established a base in Concord last year with one Boeing Next-Generation 737 and will now operate eight nonstop destinations from the airport.

Avelo operates a fleet of Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft and has completed more than 61,000 flights, serving over 7.7 million customers since 2021. The airline now serves 50 cities across 20 states and Puerto Rico, as well as three international destinations. Avelo also offers various seating options and ensures that children under 14 are seated with an accompanying adult at no extra cost.
