The Broward Cultural Division is launching a new event to mark the start of the county's arts season, "Arts Launch Broward". This inaugural celebration of all things cultural is scheduled for Sunday, October 5, from 11 AM to 3 PM, and it boasts a program packed with live performances, artistic showcases, and plenty of opportunities for community engagement. It's free to attend.
Held at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, attendees can look forward to a diverse lineup of live music and dance, artist exhibitions, and cultural organization tables. For families and hands-on enthusiasts, interactive activities are on the docket, as well as information-packed pop-ups detailing the upcoming season's concerts, exhibits, and festivals. "Arts Launch Broward will connect the public with the vibrant arts programming supported through County investment," Phillip Dunlap, Director of the Broward County Cultural Division, explained in a statement obtained by a county news release.
Arts Launch Broward will take place alongside the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Sunday Jazz Brunch, adding to the day’s festivities. A dedicated stage will be set up at the outdoor plaza of the Broward Center. Event details are available at Broward.org/Arts or by calling 954-357-7457.
