The Chicago Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing 16-year-old girl last seen in the area of the 6400 block of West Berteau. A news release on their official website reports Solangie Meneses, who is described as having a medium complexion, brown eyes, red hair, standing 5-foot-3, and weighing 110 pounds, has been missing since August 5, 2025. The department has classified her as an endangered missing person.
Authorities have provided a case number, JJ-366727, along with a NIC number M158538980 and LDS number 3M2583948, to aid in the search. While the police have not disclosed specific details, they believe that Solangie is possibly being harbored by unknown subjects at an undisclosed location. The special emphasis on her being endangered hints at a heightened level of concern for her safety.
