Kedzie Ave., according to a community alert issued by the police. The driver then sped away from the scene, continuing north on Kedzie Avenue.
Witnesses last saw the offending vehicle, described as a 2014 - 2024 Silver Toyota 4Runner Limited, in the vicinity of Archer Ave. and Sacramento Ave. It is reported to possibly have sustained front-end damage, particularly on the front right side. The collision has left residents unsettled by the reckless disregard for human life.
