According to the report, the vehicle, which bears the Illinois Registration EL95946, traveled from the 800 block of West Marquette Road before striking the pedestrian. Fleeing eastbound after the crash, the vehicle quickly became the subject of an intense search. The crash occurred at approximately 11:35 pm near 755 W Marquette Road.
