Starting today, reclaimed water will be shut off for residents on several streets due to infrastructure upgrades. The interruption, resulting from a reclaimed main relocation, will affect homes on Seabreeze Ave, Thomas St, Luke Ln, and Andrews Ave. Service is slated to briefly, but significantly, pause for about 48 hours, with a planned restoration tomorrow afternoon, according to the city's announcement.
Addresses including 125 through 212 on Seabreeze Ave, 1101 to 1125 on Thomas St, and a chunk of properties on Luke Ln and Andrews Ave will need to make do without their usual access to reclaimed water beginning today. While the city promises to quickly restore service, the disruption is still sure to ripple through daily routines.
The notice posted by the City of Delray Beach details the affected areas and provides a point of contact for those with questions: Project Manager II Walter Sanchez, reachable at (561) 243‑7331. The city extends its thanks in advance for residents' patience and cooperation as they endeavor to complete the work.
