Tragedy struck Western Boca Raton last Friday evening when Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to a drowning incident. Around 6:40 p.m., crews were dispatched to Aryshire Lane following reports of a person submerged in water. The first responders arrived promptly to find the individual; however, the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Details surrounding the drowning are scant at this time, with CBS12 reporting that the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office will be leading the investigation into the matter. No information has been released about the identity of the deceased or the circumstances that led to the drowning.
