The incident, which involved a suspect taking merchandise from an Ulta Beauty store on August 1, 2025, was brought to the public’s attention through the department’s social media channels.
Authorities have released a photo of the suspect, asking for anyone with information to come forward. The image shared via the police department's Facebook page yesterday, shows a figure purportedly leaving the store with unpaid goods. Witnesses or individuals who recognize the person in the photograph are urged to contact El Cajon PD at 619-579-3311.
