As summer heat wanes, El Mirage is heating up with a series of signature events sure to draw crowds looking for community engagement and a good time. In a strategy to bolster local engagement and celebrate the season changes, the City of El Mirage has rolled out its calendar dates for a variety of public events, with city officials now on the hunt for sponsorships that can support these festive gatherings.

First on the docket is the Fiesta de la Gente, scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Bill Gentry Park. Following closely is the Fall Harvest Festival on Friday, October 24, going from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. City officials hope to seize the autumnal spirit with these events, which also take place at Bill Gentry Park. Not resting on its laurels as the weather turns colder, the city plans the Winterfest & Parade for Saturday, December 6, which promises to light up the early winter's night from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Details regarding the potential for eye-catching floats and community group participants are still being finalized for the parade. Post-holiday revelers can look forward to the Public Safety Day happening on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Gateway Park, where citizens can meet local first responders from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Wrapping up the season's festivities, the "Spring Faire" will offer a fresh start to the city as flowers bloom, set for Friday in March, exact date to be confirmed, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bill Gentry Park. Each of these events, free to the public, will host food and beverage vendors, though their offerings are not part of the gratis admission. For more information on the event lineup or how to become a sponsor, interested parties can visit the city's announcement page.
