The El Paso Parks and Recreation department is calling all youthful enthusiasts of the volleyball game to join their upcoming Recreational Youth Volleyball League. Starting August 20 and running through September 27, the league is set to hold games and practices at the Don Haskins Recreation Center, located at 7400 High Ridge Dr, inviting boys and girls aged 10 and above to participate.
Open registration sets the stage for budding athletes to sharpen their skills, where they will engage in practices twice a week with games unfolding on Saturdays. According to the El Paso Parks and Recreation Department in a recent social media post, the league emphasizes learning fundamental skills and understanding the rules of play in a supportive atmosphere. With registration costing $40 per player, the league promises fun, non-competitive matches that prioritize inclusive participation over the pressures of winning.
For those looking to serve, set, and spike their way through the season, the El Paso Parks and Recreation Department revels in the excitement, "Let’s get ready to serve, set, and spike this season!" declares the El Paso Parks and Recreation's call to action. The league not only serves as a springboard for young sports enthusiasts to develop physically but also fosters a sense of team spirit and camaraderie among the youth.
