Authorities in Florida have launched an urgent search for two young children reportedly kidnapped from their foster home in Palm Beach County. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued an Amber Alert yesterday for Aizon Turner, 3, and his elder brother, Akachi Turner, 11. According to NBC Miami, the siblings were last seen in the vicinity of the 1200 block of West 6th Street in Riviera Beach.
The boys are believed to be with their non-custodial mother, Audrey Turner, 43, and may be traveling in a black Toyota sedan with noticeable front-end damage, potentially heading towards the Atlanta area. Riviera Beach officials indicated that there might be, another woman accompanying them, both publications reported. Audrey Turner reportedly has an active warrant for child neglect issued by Miami-Dade County, raising concerns for the children's well-being.
Aizon Turner was last seen dressed in a khaki shirt, khaki shorts, and distinctive black shoes that light up with red trim. His brother, Akachi, was wearing a black shirt, black pants, and high-top FILA sneakers. The description provided by Local 10 details Aizon as 3-feet tall, weighing 32 pounds with black hair and brown eyes whereas Akachi stands at 5-feet tall, 72 pounds, and shares the same hair and eye color as his younger brother.
The search stretches beyond the confines of Palm Beach, with law enforcement appealing to the public for any leads. "Anyone with information is asked to call Riviera Beach Police at 561-845-4123 or 911," as stated by NBC Miami.
