The Clarksville Police Department has apprehended a man on charges of indecent exposure after a troubling incident at a local Dollar Tree store. On August 12, 35-year-old Lemarcus Treon Johnson allegedly exposed himself in the presence of a woman and her one-year-old child within the store's premises located at 498 Warfield Blvd. According to the victim's statement, the suspect was captured on her phone, and following the dissemination of these images across social media platforms, Johnson was identified by multiple individuals, as sources at WSMV have reported.
With the suspect now in custody following the identification through the victim's recordings and store surveillance, Clarksville PD speculates that there may be additional victims who have yet to come forward. Circulated on social media, the images played a key role in Johnson's arrest, as mentioned in the FOX17 report. Despite this arrest, Johnson had previously been linked to another indecent exposure case dating back to April 2023, which has since been rendered ineligible for prosecution due to the statute of limitations.
Authorities are encouraging anyone with potential information or who may have encountered similar incidents involving Johnson to reach out to the Clarksville Police. Detective Lockerman from CPD's District 3 Criminal Investigations Division is handling the inquiries, and those who wish to provide information can do so by contacting the detective at 931-648-0656, ext. 5299.
