Tonight, temperatures will fall to around 80°F with humidity near 76%. Winds from the east will slow to about 6 mph. Cloud cover will increase slightly with a 20% chance of showers.
Local 10 noted that drought conditions persist across South Florida, with eastern Broward County experiencing extreme dryness and other areas facing moderate to severe drought. While some isolated coastal showers may develop, rainfall is expected to remain limited. Heat indices are projected to reach the lower to mid-100s, staying below the threshold for a heat advisory.
Similar weather patterns of high heat, scattered showers, and thunderstorms are expected to continue through the week.
