The Delray Beach community can breathe a sigh of relief as the Delray Beach Police Department has reported that Arnold Harris, the missing 60-year-old man afflicted with dementia and seizures, has been found safe. Earlier reports from CW34 described Harris as having walked away from his home on NW 18th Avenue and was last seen wearing brown pants, a brown pajama shirt with a pocket protector filled with papers, including his address, an orange shirt, and silver shoes.
There was an outpouring of community concern following the police department's request for public assistance to locate Mr. Harris, who wandered away overnight and his mother conveyed his medical conditions which could lead to him being confused or disoriented, the police department did not detail the circumstances under which Mr. Harris was found or his current condition beyond stating he is okay, gratitude was extended to those who aided in the successful search. In their social media update, as reported by Facebook, the Delray Beach Police Department thanked the public for their assistance in the matter.
For now, no further information about his ordeal has been released.
