The Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department (MFRD) has elevated two of its own, Josh Warren and Justin Dillard, to higher ranks within the department, as announced in a recent social media post. Warren, with MFRD since September 2008, steps up as captain/paramedic from his previous position as driver engineer, a role he took on in February 2019; Dillard, who began his journey with the department in March 2019, has been promoted to driver engineer, showcasing his commendable work ethic since joining.
Fire Chief Mark McCluskey spoke on the promotions, "We are proud to recognize the accomplishments of Captain Josh Warren and Driver Engineer Justin Dillard," McCluskey stated, "Their dedication to serving the citizens of Murfreesboro exemplifies the core values of our department, I have complete confidence they will continue to excel and provide exceptional leadership in their new roles." Both promotions are a nod to the pair’s commitment and service to the Murfreesboro community over the years.
The department, in its announcement, highlighted Warren's 16-year contribution, citing his leadership qualities and dedication as key reasons for his promotion. On the other hand, Dillard's progression to driver engineer within just a few years is a testament to his rapid growth and consistent performance within MFRD.
