Elements of the case, including suspects' photos and a maroon Jeep connected to the event, have been released in an effort to solicit public assistance.
According to the information released by the Nashville Police Department, following the victim from the James Cayce neighborhood, the suspects trapped the victim on Rosa L. Parks Boulevard near Clarksville Pike before unleashing a barrage of bullets into his rented Tesla. The man, injured in the attack, was quickly rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment.
The incident's details suggest that there were at least three suspects, two of whom were captured by surveillance cameras. These images have since been disseminated to the public in hopes that someone will recognize the individuals and provide pertinent details to law enforcement officials.
