According to Nashville.gov, the employee, who was shot in the stomach during the incident, is expected to recover from the injury. Details emerging from the investigation have painted a chaotic scene at the 476 Bell Road location. After reportedly grabbing merchandise, two individuals, one wearing a black hoodie and another in a red hoodie, were asked to leave by the store employee. The man in the black hoodie is claimed to have assaulted another customer before the gunfire exchange occurred. Caught in the surveillance footage, the employee drew his handgun — returning fire as the suspects fled in a gray sedan, having fired shots into the storefront.
