As Labor Day weekend approaches, the city gears up for a well-deserved break. The City of Pembroke Pines has announced that it will be taking a pause on Monday, September 1, to celebrate the holiday. For residents worried about disruption to their sanitation services, the city confirms no hiccups in the garbage and bulk pickup schedule.
"Please note that there will be no change to the residential garbage and bulk pickup schedule for the Labor Day holiday," the city ensured in a recent notice. City Hall will be closed, but garbage collection will continue as usual.
The city is maintaining regular services to honor workers’ contributions and ensure the community can enjoy the holiday without interruption.
