The New Orleans Police Department is actively seeking the public's assistance in locating a person of interest connected to a homicide case. The incident, which occurred in the early morning hours of July 31, resulted in the death of a young male on Franklin Avenue, as reported by the New Oleans Police Department.
According to New Orleans Police Department , officers responded to a call at approximately 4:22 a.m. and arrived at the 1600 block of Franklin Avenue to find a 14-year-old, later identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner as Jacarin Scott, who had sustained at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The NOPD has now released an image of the person of interest, urgently seeking to quickly meet with him for questioning regarding the ongoing homicide investigation.
