The altercation happened around 12:45 a.m. on the 1000 block of North Springfield Avenue. Among the victims, a 38-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was rushed to an area hospital but did not survive the assault. A 44-year-old woman was also struck by gunfire, receiving a wound to her wrist. She is now in good condition at a hospital. Furthermore, another man, age 28, is being treated for critical injuries after being shot in the chest and right arm.
