A rollover accident on the ramp from northbound Interstate 95 to the Turnpike and westbound Palmetto Expressway caused significant traffic disruption today. The incident involved a dump truck that overturned, bringing traffic to a halt along I-95, starting at Northwest 103rd Street, extending to the Golden Glades area.
The congestion was captured by 7Skyforce, which hovered above the scenes of standstill traffic and the toppled truck. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue treated one individual on the scene, aftermath of the accident, WSVN reported. Meanwhile, there was no immediate announcement on how long it would take for the truck to be removed and traffic to resume as normal.
On the same day, a separate crash lingered over I-95 North at exit 74 in West Palm Beach. Florida 511 reported the incident at 12:20 p.m., showcasing an overturned vehicle and two lanes obstructed to traffic on the highway's cameras. Although there were no injuries reported, Florida 511 labeled the crash with "intermediate severity," indicating moderate delays and some lane closures, though stopping short of requiring a complete highway closure. Motorists were advised to look for alternative routes to avoid delays, as per CBS12.
