The City of Pembroke Pines is rolling out something special for the community this September. According to the city's official announcement, the Touch-A-Truck Vehicle Expo is gearing up to be a hands-on event for family members of all ages. Presented by Baptist Health, the expo will take itself at the Charles F. Dodge City Center on Saturday, September 20, from 10 am to noon.

Located at 601 City Center Way, the event will showcase an array of trucks and heavy construction machinery. Visitors can climb aboard the vehicles, explore emergency response units, and get a closer look at the equipment that supports everyday life. For those eager to take the driver’s seat, honking horns is not only allowed but encouraged. The expo goes beyond a simple display of machinery, offering a hands-on educational experience. Attendees will have the chance to meet service personnel, including Pembroke Pines Fire and Police officers, and learn about the vehicles they use in their daily work.

Children will also have plenty to enjoy, thanks to giveaways for early arrivals. The first 100 kids will receive a free Touch-A-Truck t-shirt, while the next 200 will take home a Hot Wheels car. In addition, the first 500 participants will be given a Touch-A-Truck hard hat as a keepsake. With free admission and parking, the event is designed to be fun and accessible for the whole community, as mentioned on the City of Pembroke Pines' official website.
