Playboy Enterprises is charting a new course, waving goodbye to Los Angeles and marking its X on Miami Beach for its future global headquarters. The iconic lifestyle brand is set to nestle into RIVANI Miami Beach, Robert Rivani's splashy $100 million office redevelopment that's located a stone's throw from Lincoln Road. "Securing a top-tier, globally recognized company like Playboy underscores the level of prestige and energy we are bringing to RIVANI Miami Beach, and we are excited for the world-class brands that will join them," Rivani told WSVN.
The move is more than just a change of address; it's a bid to strategically align with a city that's vibrant, culturally significant, and business-friendly. Along with the HQ shuffle, Playboy plans to heartily develop a new, swanky Playboy Club in Miami Beach together with a top-tier hospitality company. The new venue promises to deliver a high-end restaurant and an exclusive members-only area reminiscent of the Playboy Mansion.
This relocation is poised to also kickstart the establishment of cutting-edge content studios designed to amplify Playboy's expanding creator network. These Miami Beach facilities aim to produce a rich mix of multimedia content for the digital age, ranging from podcasts to photography, strengthening Playboy's foothold at the cultural crossroad of entertainment and lifestyle.
"Miami Beach is among the most dynamic and culturally influential cities in the country, making it the ideal home for Playboy's next chapter," CEO of Playboy, Inc., Ben Kohn, stated. He added that their ambition was to create globally resonant content and experiences, and Miami Beach provides the perfect backdrop for such endeavors.
Commissioner Joseph Magazine of the City of Miami Beach also chimed in, celebrating the move as a boon for job creation and economic growth. He remarked that the move "reinforces our commitment to fostering innovation, cultural vitality, and economic growth in partnership with one of the most iconic brands in history," as detailed in an announcement obtained by PR Newswire.
