
Gunfire shattered the relative calm of Mission Street yesterday afternoon, as reported by the San Francisco Police Department via a social media update. The shooting took place in the 1900 block of Mission Street, sending shock waves through the neighborhood just before 3 p.m. Officers from Mission Station, already on patrol nearby, immediately converged on the scene to discover one male victim with multiple gunshot wounds.

The officers moved quickly to stem the bleeding, offering first aid to the victim, whose injuries were described as life-threatening. The paramedics swooped in to rush him to a nearby hospital, where he remains under intensive care. Meanwhile, two suspects were swiftly detained by the police, who are now deep into their investigation of the events that led up to the shooting.
