The relative serenity is set to shift on Friday when a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms enters the forecast, particularly after 1 p.m. These conditions introduce a more tempestuous pattern, with the potential for precipitation ramping up to a 60 percent chance by Friday night. The forecast anticipates storms will become more likely, hitting their stride into the weekend.
