Yesterday, a disturbance occurred at 695 Cameron M. Alexander Boulevard NW in Atlanta. According to the Atlanta Police Department's news release, at around 12:16 p.m., a 43-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were injured in a shooting. The man sustained a gunshot wound to his left arm, while the woman was shot in her right foot. Authorities have not released their names.
Both victims drove themselves to the hospital, where they arrived alert, conscious, and breathing, police said. Investigators later determined the shooting did not occur at the hospital but at the previously reported boulevard location.
